Public Hearing: Performance and Status of Water Storage Facility Project

The Village of Franklin is completing a NYS Office of Community Renewal Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Project. NYS CDBG Project #417PW77-21 in the amount of $791,500 was used to construct a new water storage facility for the Village of Franklin.

In accordance with the CDBG Citizen Participation requirements, a public hearing is being held in order to review the performance and status of activities and to identify future Community Development activities for the Small Cities CDBG Program. This second hearing is in addition to the public hearing that was held during development of this project prior to submission of the Small Cities CDBG application. At this hearing the Village will review the amount of project #417PW77-21 CDBG funds that were available, provide a listing of activities that were undertaken with CDBG funds, the amount of CDBG funds made available for activities that benefit the LMI National Objective and progress towards program goals and objectives as outlined in the original application submitted for Program Year 2021.

This public hearing will be held on December 11, 2023 at 7:00 PM at the Village Hall, 141 Water Street, Franklin, New York 13775.

The Village of Franklin will make every effort to ensure that the public hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities.
